The problem of disinfection is not solved at most enterprises nowadays and it happens even despite the gained experience in pig production. The absence of comprehensive approach for solving the problem of disinfection is the main reason for it. That is why the staff of FE «Yevrosvynka plyus» wants to give the benefit of the experience in disinfection.

So, disinfection today is an important compound of sanitary measures aimed on preventing new diseases and eradication of illnesses. Disinfection also plays an important role in decreasing the negative impact of pathogenic, opportunistic and saprophytic microflora on animals during the whole cycle of production and especially in critical periods.

Critical are considered those periods when animals are exposed to additional influence of negative factors such as bad feeding, stress, bad housing conditions, hormonal shifts, seasonal immunodepression. It is important to understand the meaning of the term «critical points of biosecurity» of production processes on the enterprise or animal farm. It means the possible sources of penetration or spreading of agents of diseases in the heard. Understanding of critical points of biosecurity enables to control sanitary condition or to eliminate certain diseases.

It is essential to make the right choice of disinfectant.

There are a lot of information about methods and means of wet disinfection. But the question of the adequate choice and usage of dry disinfectants is not highlighted enough.

There are a lot of products which are called disinfectants used for dry disinfection. They can be divided into two groups: disinfectants and driers.
